The French company Ynsect announced its projects outside our borders. The unicorn thus wants to establish itself in the USA and Mexico.

Ynsect announced the construction of two production sites. One will be located in the United States and the other in Mexico. nsect has signed two major partnerships for an amount of approximately 200 million euros. Start of work is planned for the end of 2023. Remember that Ynsect specializes in foods (for animals, fish, plants, etc.) based on insects.

10 15 farms by 2030

The first memorandum of understanding that the company has signed is with the American company Ardent Mills, a leader in the supply of wheat flour in North America. It has also signed a joint development agreement with Corporativo Kosmos of Mexico (supply of food and general services), with which it has been working for a year. These announcements of partnerships in the United States and Mexico reflect the development dynamics of insects, which plan to build 10 to 15 farms by 2030 worldwide. nsect plans to expand its operations on all continents to help meet the challenge of feeding more than 8.5 billion people in a healthy and sustainable way by 2030, nsect said in a press release. Angie Goldberg, director of business development at Ardent Mills, expressed the US company’s satisfaction with working with nect, which started in 2011.
