why are these americans in love with france?

Americans and even North Americans tell us about their love of the French language, the current climate in the US, but also the political situation across the Atlantic or what they think of France and the French.

A conversation with three other people to find out how they see our respective countries. Kate Voegele is a musician and songwriter who lives in Los Angeles and is also an actress (we saw her in the series The Scott brothers). Brian Scudamore is a businessman born in the USA, now living in Canada. Léa Tirard-Hersant teaches French to international students.

Why did they decide to learn French, which it seems is so complicated for English speakers? Are the clichés surrounding the French founded? Are we that unsympathetic to foreign tourists? Does this only affect Parisians? Or are we that bad at English according to them?
