The state covers 50% of the insurance premiums for exports to countries in sub-Saharan Africa

The state now bears 50% of the insurance premiums relating to export insurance contracts to countries in sub-Saharan Africa, according to Legislative Decree No. 2022-66 of 19 October 2022, published in JORT of 21 October 2022.

According to this presidential decree, the percentage of the state’s coverage of insurance premiums is borne by the resources of the export risk guarantee fund. The management company for this fund is responsible for administering the system for taking over the state’s insurance premiums on its own behalf and on behalf of other insurance companies that carry out insurance business.
This Legislative Decree shall remain in force for a period of twelve months from the date of its entry into force.
