What is its relation to the creation of a canvas? ” It is a challenge I have set myself. I try to transcribe an atmosphere more than I can do with a drawing. I like scenes of life that represent an activity. We work a lot in oil. It is obviously longer, but we have time. This allows you to refine and create depth, on the whites, to add lighting, in short, to make the right impression.

Painting in oil or acrylic, with a brush or a knife on various canvas supports, of course, but also on sheets of various recycled materials. Varied painting styles that everyone practices according to their wishes, impressionism, figurative, abstract and many others.
Catherine, who has been a member of the club for 20 years, specifies that “ painting represents an escape for me. I am in it and when I paint my mind escapes. I can’t see the time passing. It’s a good group where fun is the rule. We help each other with this beautiful idea of sharing.
This enthusiast has just finished a painting with a knife in a short time and is working on a new job on a canvas to create an acrylic glaze.
