Police in Des Moines, Iowa, reported arresting several people after a shooting that occurred at the “Starts Right Here” facility, a program for troubled youth.
Two people were killed and a third was seriously injured on Monday at a youth center in Des Moines in the US state of Iowa (central), police said. Three suspects arrested
Police could not yet provide the exact ages of the two victims. “I don’t know if they are adults or (…) minor teenagers”, Paul Parizek said. On the basis of witness descriptions, the police stopped a vehicle and detained him “three potential suspects”. The investigation continues, she says in a statement. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds said to herself “shocked and saddened” at the shooting.
These two deaths come after the deaths of 11 people on Saturday night in California, shot and killed by a septuagenarian of Asian descent during Chinese New Year celebrations.
