Sale / Bargain – Google Pixel 7 Pro 128GB “5 Star” Smartphone for €799.00

The Pixel 7 Pro is the flagship of Google’s 2022 catalog. The smartphone, photo-oriented like its predecessors, steadily improves (very good) the performance of its predecessor.

The Pixel 7 Pro confirms the good copy made last year by the Pixel 6 Pro. The smartphone refines a formula that hits the mark: Google places a very bright Oled screen, a powerful Tensor G2 chip and photo equipment that make it one of the most versatile terminals. Android 13 is entitled to special improvements (transcription of voice messages, free VPN on the way) that serve this successful hardware. Of course, we regret that the smartphone does not do better in terms of autonomy and fast charging, an area where Google does not perform miracles, and this year we can once again blame the terminal for its somewhat massive design. But these elements, in our opinion, are not enough to eclipse this very compelling picture.

Strong points

  • Very bright OLED screen.
  • Performance of Tensor G2.
  • Versatility and photo quality.

Weak points

  • Autonomy not really up.
  • Tendency to warming.

Oppo’s Find X5 Pro is a very convincing successor to an already very successful Find X3 Pro. This smartphone does not show itself when it comes to photography and does not play the card with the number of megapixels, rather that with software processing. It succeeds, and its ability to perform well, even very well, at both wide and ultra-wide angles makes up for a slightly lower optical magnification than its direct competition. For the rest, the Find X5 Pro has a beautiful screen, a power certainly not excessive, but sufficient, as well as a good autonomy (not to mention a very practical fast charging). With such a device, Oppo confirms that it deserves its place in the big leagues.
