Perpignan: the CCI and the Bar Association sign an agreement to better advise companies

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bar Association of Perpignan met on Monday July 25 to sign a partnership agreement.

Better advise, support and protect companies and project creators in their approach. This is the objective of the partnership agreement signed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pyrénées-Orientales and the Bar Association of Perpignan this Monday, July 25.

Every last Friday of each month, companies in the department will be able to benefit from legal advice in terms of business law or social law: “Depending on the needs, the CCI will pass on to the bar association a list of craftsmen and the advice they request”specifies Laurent Gauze, President of the Chamber. “Thus, we can choose, among the 331 lawyers registered with the bar, those who are best able to answer their questions”adds Jacques Malavialle, president of the order.

If necessary, after this first contact, free for companies, the collaboration can continue directly between the company manager and the lawyer. Beyond this monthly meeting, information meetings will take place regularly. “The idea is to institutionalize relations between lawyers and merchants and to connect companies with all the services they may need”, continues Laurent Gauze.
