Neuberger Berman expands its private debt offering with the launch of the Neuberger Berman European Private Loans Fund II

Neuberger Berman, an independent, employee-owned, private investment manager, is expanding its private debt offering with the launch of Neuberger Berman European Private Loans Fund II. The fund, domiciled in Dublin, will provide institutional investors with access to a selection of unsponsored private loans, structured and underwritten by local European banks, denominated in euros, of high quality, with an investment horizon of 3 to 10 years and adapted to the different European jurisdictions.

Over the past 20 years, Managing Director Pieter D’Hoore, now surrounded by a team of 14 people, has partnered with local European banks by offering exclusive access to loans that can be granted to businesses with strong balance sheets and a low level of indebtedness.

These regional banks will originate the loans and will co-invest throughout its life as both lender and service provider. Neuberger Berman will play an active role in setting up each transaction. Investors will benefit from integrating ESG factors during the screening process, and this will be an integral part of the due diligence process for each loan.
