Jean-Christophe Combe, Minister of Solidarity and Autonomy, took advantage of the 104e congress of mayors, and the forum dedicated on 23 November 2022 to early childhood, to officially launch the consultation on the establishment of a public service for early childhood. Announced on 21 November by Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne within the framework of the inter-ministerial committee for children, this consultation is part of the “priority projects” to “ensure equal opportunities for children and young people”.
