Evan Fournier isn’t the only player in New York who could be sailing soon, other members of the roster are concerned as well. Milwaukee and Dallas would also battle to regain one of them, who is currently losing his best career season.
Despite their last loss against the Bucks (111-107), the Knicks remain in a good position at the moment. 7th in the Eastern Conference with 22 wins for 9 losses, however they are only one game behind the Top 6 and therefore remain in ambush. Impressive considering the franchise is dealing with a lot of departure rumors at the moment, with several members of the squad likely to leave before the Feb. 9 trade deadline.
The first name to be mentioned is, of course, that of Evan Fournier, although the French international has shown improvement since his coach Tom Thibodeau decided to reintegrate him into the rotation after more than a month of suspension. Enough to warrant his retention in Gotham? We strongly doubt that, especially after his WTF streak against Milwaukee. If the rating of the Habs is not high at the moment, however, it is a different story when it comes to some of his teammates.
The top of the league sees Immanuel Quickley
Author of more than 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists average in 2022-23, Immanuel Quickley is playing his best career season in the Big Apple. If his address is very perfect (41% recording including 33% from distance), his productivity attracts more than one to believe in the journalist Michael Scotto. According to him, several big names would have positioned themselves to negotiate with New York about him:

Another Knicks player whose name has been circulating in recent rumors this season is Immanuel Quickley. Several teams, including the Bucks, Mavericks and Wizards, have expressed interest in Quickley, according to league sources who spoke to HoopsHype.
The possibility of the rear end joining a very large engine is therefore real, but it remains to be seen what it will be necessary to let go of to acquire its services. However, New York fans are urging their managers to reject any transaction outright:
Giannis or Luka has to be the Knicks for this deal to go through

It would take Giannis or Luka for this deal to see the light of day with the Knicks
Immanuel Quickley has become a fundamental part of the Knicks’ success this season, which is why fans don’t want to see him go. But if the competition makes an offer impossible to refuse, Gotham’s front office has a good chance of giving in… The case therefore follows.
