Insurance company dedicated to construction, the helper elects a new president, Thibault Richard

The construction association, Auxiliary, elected its new president, Thibault Richard, on October 5. He succeeds Luc Brunel, who led the Auxiliary for twelve years.

It was in June 2010 that this last entrepreneur, with experience of nine years at the head of the French Construction Federation of the Loire and three years at MEDEF in the same department, had been brought to the presidency of The Auxiliary.

To succeed him, the board chose Thibault Richard, an entrepreneur and former president of the Fédération du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics de l’Isère.

To support him in his mission, Gérald Fontanel, promoter and president of the Pôle Habitat FFB for the Rhône, was elected vice-president and Pierre Convert, entrepreneur and president of the Federation of Building and Public Works of Ain, secretary.

Mutual insurer specializing in construction since… 1863, Auxiliary has set up its head office in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon.

This mutual, which from Lyon covers the entire national area, has 10,000 member customers and 250 employees.

It has twelve commercial agencies in the south-eastern quarter of France and is represented by 250 brokers throughout France, including one on the island of Reunion.

It is a major player with €194 million in revenue in 2021.
