Eric Evian takes over the presidency of Cefarea-Arias

Eric Evian has been appointed as the new president of Cefarea-Arias. He succeeds Jean-Marc Blamoutier as head of the French Center for Arbitration in Reinsurance and Insurance.

On the occasion of the last general meeting in Cefarea-Arias, Eric Evian was appointed as the new chairman of the association dedicated to mediation and arbitration of disputes between insurance and reinsurance actors. The current Deputy Managing Director of CGPA Europe has been its Vice President since 2016.

A graduate of the University of Bordeaux and ESCP Business School, Eric Evian began his career in BFCE’s international legal department in 1994. Appointed two years later to the legal department of Societe Generale, he joined Axa Re in 2000, again as a legal person . Manager. After taking over the Western European Legal and Public Affairs division of Alico (now MetLife) between 2006 and 2012, Eric Evian then joined CGPA Europe as Director of Development and Underwriting.
