All beautiful, brand new! The neighborhood Jean-de-La-Fontaine, in Dammarie-lès-Lys (Seine-et-Marne), also known as PSR, has completed its transformation. After four years of work, in Three Habitat turbines, and the destruction of the old, dilapidated houses, the new homes were inaugurated on Wednesday, October 5. Total 64 accommodations came up from the ground, with, in individuals, 6 T2, 9 T3, 3 T4, 2T5.
“It is in a way an extension of the Urban Renewal Agency’s work in it Light ordinary, we compare in the town hall. If the old town was completely razed, the spirit was preserved. New habitats are always taking shape small houses, to best fit into the physiognomy of the sector. This enables a better placement on the site, which is suburban, but also to offer individual housing. »
Some houses have two dwellings: one on the ground floor, the other upstairs, accessible by an external staircase.
Although the exact number of tenants is not yet known, it is estimated at approx 120 people. “The first residents will move in within a maximum of 14 days”, says the municipality.
In terms of financing, the project has mobilized many actors: the Île-de-France region, the urban community of Melun Val-de-Seine, the state, Action Logement and, of course, the city of Dammarie-lès-Lys. . “CDC loans were taken out for €8,267,269 and the municipality’s own funds were used for €1,313,861, with the city guaranteeing 100% of the loans”, the city clarifies.
The realization of this district made it possible to go through the layout of the premises in depth and create a completely new space after going through all the networks. If the old football field along avenue Louis-Barthou were destroyed in favor of housing, a square was born in the heart of the Jean-de-La-Fontaine district. A more than welcome space, as the problem of heat islands in the city arises more and more.
“The project gives an honor to vegetation, we mention in the town hall. The ecological regulations have also been applied to the home, which is a lot better insulated. They meet current standards, whether from an energy point of view or in terms of accessibility to disabled. Finally, the living environment is significantly improved, as each home has a private outdoor space, which did not exist before, and they all havea garden ora terrace. »
In the coming months, other housing renovation projects should see the light of day in the municipality of Dammarie-lès-Lys, regarding housing in the Square de l’Abbaye, in collaboration with the landlord Habitat77.
