A girl and her dog save a goat and her newborn, it’s beautiful

Dog: Hamdü Sena Bilgin, an 11-year-old girl, lives in a small village near the city of Rize in Turkey. Hamdü and her family own a small farm, where they raise goats for their milk, and she serves as a shepherdess, protector and animal guide.

She and her dog rescued a newborn goat and its mother, and the photos went viral on social media. Her dog named Tomi is always by her side to help her, even during the cold winter months. While Hamdü and Tomi were taking care of the lazy goats on a snowy hill far from their home, one of them suddenly started giving birth.

Hamdü Sena told The Dodo:

“After the goat gave birth, I brought the rest of the herd back to the farm. Then I took two backpacks into the house and went back to pick up the goat and her baby with Tomi”.

Hamdü carried the mother goat in his backpack and put the baby in another backpack for Tomi to carry.

She said :

“He’s a good dog. Very clever. »

The two then cut a path in the snow to bring the new family to safety.

“The snow was so deep that I was exhausted. But it was worth it. »

She was joined at the end of the walk by her brother, who captured the stunning photos of the rescue, which later went viral. Thanks to Hamdü and Tomi’s dedication to the animals in their care, the goat and her baby are safe and sound.
